EPAM Partners With Anthropic to Train 20,000 Staff on AI

EPAM Systems Inc. has partnered with Anthropic to train 20,000 of its employees on the San Francisco-based AI company’s tools and technologies, according to a report from Stock Titan.

The partnership pairs the NASDAQ-listed IT services and software engineering firm with the maker of the Claude AI model. EPAM, which operates globally with significant U.S. operations, will equip roughly 20,000 staff members with skills in Anthropic’s AI capabilities.

The partnership reflects a broader trend of technology services companies embedding generative AI into their operations. For Anthropic, the deal adds a major systems integrator as the company competes with OpenAI, Google and other AI providers for large-scale corporate deployments.

EPAM Systems, traded on NASDAQ under the ticker EPAM, is a global digital platform engineering and software development services company with tens of thousands of employees worldwide. The company has been expanding its AI and automation capabilities as enterprise clients increasingly demand AI-integrated solutions.

For Anthropic, which has positioned Claude as an enterprise-ready AI assistant with an emphasis on safety and reliability, the EPAM deal adds a major systems integrator to its growing roster of corporate partners. Systems integrators play a critical role in AI adoption because they build and deploy solutions for end clients across industries, effectively multiplying the reach of any single AI platform.

The partnership arrives as enterprise AI adoption expands, with consulting and IT services firms moving to upskill their workforces on the latest AI tools. Competitors including Accenture, Deloitte and Infosys have announced similar large-scale AI training initiatives with various AI providers over the past year.

Financial terms of the EPAM-Anthropic partnership were not disclosed.
