Adobe Launches CX Enterprise Platform Built on Agentic AI

Adobe on Monday announced the launch of CX Enterprise, a comprehensive customer experience platform designed to integrate agentic AI capabilities across the company’s marketing and enterprise software stack.

The new offering, reported by Google News: AI Enterprise, represents Adobe’s latest bid to position its suite of customer experience tools around autonomous AI agents capable of handling complex marketing and customer engagement tasks without constant human oversight.

CX Enterprise consolidates Adobe’s existing marketing cloud products under a unified platform architecture that leverages AI agents to automate workflows spanning content creation, audience segmentation, campaign orchestration, and real-time personalization. The platform is aimed squarely at large enterprise customers seeking to scale their digital marketing operations.

The announcement comes as major enterprise software vendors race to embed agentic AI — systems that can plan, reason, and execute multi-step tasks autonomously — into their product lines. Salesforce, Microsoft, and SAP have all made similar moves in recent months, each positioning AI agents as the next evolution beyond traditional chatbot interfaces.

Adobe said the platform builds on its existing AI foundation, Adobe Firefly and Adobe Sensei, extending those capabilities into autonomous agent workflows that can operate across the full customer journey. The company has emphasized that the agents are designed to work within enterprise governance frameworks, with human oversight controls built into the system.

The launch also signals Adobe’s strategy to compete more directly in the enterprise AI platform market, where customer experience has become a key battleground. As companies increasingly demand AI tools that can act independently on marketing decisions — from adjusting ad spend to personalizing website experiences in real time — vendors are under pressure to deliver agent capabilities that go beyond simple automation.

Adobe has been investing heavily in generative AI across its product portfolio since 2023, beginning with image generation in its Creative Cloud tools and expanding into document processing and marketing applications. CX Enterprise represents the company’s most ambitious integration of AI agents into its business-to-business offerings to date.

Adobe is headquartered in San Jose, California, and reported annual revenue of approximately $21.5 billion in its most recent fiscal year. The company serves enterprise clients across media, retail, financial services, and healthcare sectors.
