Enterprise AI platform Writer holds SOC 2, ISO 27001/27701/42001 certifications for its agents; discloses no insurance product

Writer's trust page names a governed execution layer, audit logs and three ISO certifications behind its enterprise agents. Insurance, indemnification and liability terms are absent from the same page.

Writer, an enterprise generative-AI platform newly published in AI Dispatch's index, publishes one of the more detailed compliance postures among agents the index has reviewed. "We undergo annual SOC 2 Type II evaluations and hold ISO/IEC 27001, 27701, and 42001 certifications, confirming our implemented controls for security, privacy, and responsible AI management," the company states on its trust page.

The company describes a governed layer that mediates what its agents can do. "Agent requests to connected systems pass through a governed execution layer that validates identity, checks permissions, and records activity," Writer states, adding that "guardrails, identity validation, granular permissions and approval flows shape how agents interact with connected systems."

On the record those agents leave behind, the company states: "Role-based permissions and least-privilege access helps ensure every action is appropriately authorized, while audit logs surface how Writer is used across your organization." It also describes a form of explainability for individual outputs: "Activity traces, source citation, and decision logs provide clarity into how AI reached an answer."

The company states a forward-looking regulatory commitment rather than a completed one: "We are committed to complying with the EU AI Act as we continue to evaluate our obligations under it and are similarly committed to complying with our obligations under current laws and regulations." On training data, Writer states: "WRITER does not train its models on your data, nor does it train on user inputs or any outputs. You control how your data is used."

What the same trust page does not publish: an insurance product, a named carrier, a coverage limit or an indemnification clause. AI Dispatch's index records each of those fields as no public information, along with outcome-based pricing and a settlement mechanism.

The pattern is uneven across the five trust-gap dimensions AI Dispatch's index scores. Writer discloses governance controls, an audit trail and named, dated certifications — evidence on three of five dimensions that is unusually specific for the category. It discloses nothing on the fourth or fifth: insurance and indemnity, and outcome-linked payment terms.

AI Dispatch's full index and sourcing are published at aidispatch.news, with a source URL, retrieval timestamp and quote attached to every field.
