E-commerce agent SellerClaw routes tasks through eight AI model providers, including four Chinese firms; discloses no insurance or compliance certification

SellerClaw, an e-commerce management agent sold by SellerAI, lets customers set the product's autonomy anywhere from an advisory mode to full independent operation, according to the company's product page.

In advisory mode, the agent only recommends changes and a human must approve them: "every action goes through your review queue," the page states. At the top tier, the agent "Runs your store end-to-end via direct API integrations" and "Executes tasks independently."

For AI-language-model processing, SellerAI's privacy policy names eight third-party providers: OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and xAI in the United States, and Moonshot AI, DeepSeek, Alibaba Cloud and Zhipu AI in China.

The company's marketing material says the agent "explains every action in a log," but the product page does not state whether that log is tamper-evident, how long it is kept, or how a customer would review or export it.

An AI Dispatch review of the product page found no reference to insurance coverage, a named carrier, a coverage limit or an indemnification clause -- notable because the agent, at its most autonomous setting, can act on live marketplace listings, advertising spend and customer refunds without a human sign-off. The same review found no compliance certification or regulatory-alignment statement, such as SOC 2 or GDPR, on the page.

SellerClaw's pricing page offers a free tier and a paid tier billed by usage credits, starting at $36 a month; customers are charged for agent activity regardless of the result it produces, with no settlement mechanism tied to a verified outcome.

The product's stated safeguards -- a customer-set "budget rails" limit and the advisory-mode review queue -- apply only in the modes a customer chooses to enable, and the page invites customers to switch to what it calls "Autonomous mode unlocked."
