MSP automation vendor Rallied lets customers set autonomous agent scope; audit trail and insurance undisclosed

The IT-helpdesk agent, sold to managed service providers with standing access to reset passwords and modify identity systems, states SOC 2 compliance without a published audit report and discloses no audit-trail or insurance terms.

Rallied, an AI agent sold to managed service providers for IT helpdesk automation, says on its site that customers configure exactly what the agent is allowed to do without a human reviewing each action first: "You decide what Rallied can do autonomously and where," according to the company's published materials reviewed by AI Dispatch. The company says that after a tuning period, "After 30 days, it runs on its own."

The agent connects directly into a customer's existing IT infrastructure rather than only recommending changes, integrating with major platforms used by managed service providers — "ConnectWise Autotask HaloPSA SuperOps Datto RMM NinjaRMM M365 Entra ID Okta JumpCloud Google Workspace IT Glue Hudu Atlassian," the company lists on its site. Rallied is marketed to "MSP owners & service managers" and says it "Resolves L1 & L2 tickets," meaning first- and second-tier helpdesk issues such as password resets and account unlocks.

The company states it is "SOC 2 Compliant." It does not publish a link to an audit report, the auditing firm's name, or the certification's scope and date on the page reviewed. Rallied offers new customers a "30-day free trial" during which, the company says, "We handle everything," referring to onboarding and initial configuration.

What Rallied's page does not publish: an audit-trail mechanism logging what the agent actually did once running autonomously, insurance or indemnification terms, a liability cap, or any documented incident history. That gap matters specifically because of what the product is built to do — an agent with standing, customer-configured authority to reset passwords and modify identity and access systems, including Entra ID, Okta and JumpCloud among the platforms named, is exactly the kind of runtime authority AI Dispatch's trust-gap rubric scores under runtime_governance and audit_trail. Rallied's page addresses only the former.
