ProofChain, a blockchain-based agent-identity and audit-trail product, is marketing itself directly against the European Union's AI Act, according to the company's site reviewed by AI Dispatch. The company says "ProofChain gives every agent a cryptographically verifiable identity and a tamper-evident audit trail," and states the product "maps directly to Annex IV technical documentation requirements" — the EU AI Act's Article 50 record-keeping mandate for certain AI systems.

The audit record itself, the company says, is built from "HXMP encrypted memos" that "record intent → context → decision → execution → outcome" for each agent action, and is described as "Tamper-evident. Privacy-preserving. A forensic chain that regulators and auditors can verify without seeing your secrets." ProofChain says the logs are "Encrypted-at-rest audit trails" with "Data minimization by design," and separately commits to "72-hour incident reporting with verifiable timelines" — a window that echoes breach-notification deadlines under EU data-protection and cyber-incident rules.

The product is "Open source" and "Built on Solana/X1," according to the site, with a free "Starter" tier "For solo devs shipping their first agent" and a "$49 one-time" "Pro" tier "For teams running agents in production" that adds "API key access" and "Priority support (24h SLA)." An Enterprise tier adds an "On-premises option," the company says. ProofChain reports it is "Listed on AI Agents Directory • AgentLooper • Tollbooth."

What ProofChain's page does not publish: any insurance coverage, indemnification terms, a documented incident history, or independent third-party evaluation of its own compliance claims. The audit-trail and Annex IV mapping are asserted by the vendor; AI Dispatch found no independent audit, certification body, or regulator confirmation of the claim on the page reviewed.
