E-commerce chatbot vendor HoverBot labels its published results as targets, not customer data
HoverBot's own trust center labels its published outcome ranges as targets tuned in testing, not results measured on paying customers.
HoverBot, a chatbot vendor marketed to online marketplaces and e-commerce teams, discloses on its own trust center that the performance figures it publishes are not measurements from paying customers.
The company's marketing page attributes to an anonymized customer account "33% ticket deflection, 58% backlog reduction in 8 weeks" over an October-December 2025 window. Its trust center classifies every published range under a glossary of provenance labels, including "Target," defined there as "a number HoverBot is built and tuned to reach. Not yet confirmed on a production customer cohort." The same page states: "Today every outcome range is a target; the page says when that changes."
The distinction is consistent with the company's own description of where its product stands. HoverBot says it is "currently inviting a small group of marketplaces and ecommerce teams to join our design partner program," and its trust center separately labels pilot-stage features as "Enabled per tenant by the HoverBot team, may change before general release" — language describing an early-access deployment rather than an established customer base.
HoverBot's compliance position is also still in progress. Its site states "SOC 2 Type II In Progress," and the trust center lists ISO 27001 as under evaluation following that milestone. AI Dispatch's trust-gap rubric scores compliance on a 0-3 scale requiring published, certified schedules; a certification still in progress does not clear that bar.
What distinguishes HoverBot from many vendors in AI Dispatch's index is that it discloses the provenance of its own numbers, in writing, next to the figures. Publishing customer-style percentages without stating what measured them, or whether they are targets or results, is common elsewhere in the sector and typically goes undisclosed.
