AI governance vendor Fiddler enforces runtime guardrails for banks and insurers, discloses no insurance terms for its own product

Fiddler AI, an AI observability and guardrails vendor, says its product enforces policy on live agent traffic and logs the result, according to the company's website. "Fiddler Guardrails enforce policy inline, at the agent's request and response path, in under 80ms, so violations are stopped before data ever leaves your network, not flagged after the fact," the company states.

The company describes the resulting record as audit-ready: "Every enforcement decision is recorded with who triggered it and what happened, giving you audit evidence ready for GRC standards and AI regulations."

Fiddler says its customers include regulated industries directly relevant to AI Dispatch's coverage. "Fiddler AI is used by organizations deploying agents across all industries, as well as highly regulated industries like financial services, healthcare, insurance, and government," the company states, adding that "Fortune 100 organizations use Fiddler to deliver high performance agentic and predictive applications."

The company says it has been named in four analyst reports: assessments from Forrester (twice, covering agentic control planes and responsible AI), Gartner and IDC, the most recent dated February 2026.

Pricing is usage-based: the company's Developer plan runs "$0.002 per trace," according to its site.

On its own assurance terms, Fiddler's pages disclose nothing. The gap is notable because governance is Fiddler's product: the company sells the same enforcement, logging and audit capability to banks, insurers and health systems that it does not itself disclose. A vendor whose business is proving other companies' AI is accountable is, on the evidence reviewed, not itself publicly accountable for what happens if its guardrails fail.
