Face-training photo app FastPhoto discloses no insurance or liability terms — not even on its data agreement page

AI headshot generator FastPhoto trains a personal image model on photos users submit of their own face. "Upload 3–5 photos, train a personal AI model on your face," the company's website says. Fast Photo says the underlying data is protected in a specific way: "Your photos are encrypted with AES-256 and used solely to train your personal AI model. We never share your data or use it for public model training. You can delete your account and all data at any time."

The company builds its output on third-party foundation models, saying "FastPhoto uses Nano Banana Pro, Nano Banana 2, and GPT Images 2 for high-quality image generation." An automated check runs before training begins, according to the site: "Our AI checks each photo for quality, lighting, and composition, then builds your unique profile." FastPhoto markets the resulting images for "LinkedIn profile photos, team headshots, dating profiles, social media content, carousels, and themed shoots," and prices access "Plans from $10/mo." The company reports "500K+ Photos generated" and "10K+ Creators" on the platform. Customers who are unhappy with output can escalate: "If you're unsatisfied with the AI-generated results, contact our support team and we'll work with you to get the results you want."

What FastPhoto does not disclose, including on the dedicated data processing agreement page it publishes at fastphoto.io/dpa: any insurance coverage, liability cap, indemnification term, or compliance certification. For a service built around training a model on a customer's face and retaining that data, the document written to spell out exactly this kind of obligation does not address it.
