LogicMonitor's Edwin AI discloses parent company carries cyber insurance; coverage limit and indemnification terms unstated

Edwin AI, an "agentic AIOps" product from IT-monitoring company LogicMonitor for autonomous detection and resolution of infrastructure incidents, discloses that its parent company carries cyber insurance.

LogicMonitor's public trust center lists "Has cyber insurance" among the company's security attributes, alongside a roster of certifications: "SOC 2 Type II SOC 3 ISO 27001 ISO 27017 ISO 27018 IRAP CSA SIG FedRAMP Moderate." The same page lists regulatory badges reading "CCPA GDPR ICO Registered."

LogicMonitor's public materials do not state a coverage limit for the cyber policy, name the carrier, or say whether the policy extends to indemnifying customers for losses caused by Edwin AI's actions. As disclosed, the policy covers the vendor itself rather than guaranteeing a customer outcome.

On its product page, LogicMonitor says Edwin AI "executes it across your environment with full governance and audit logging in place" and offers to "Execute governed, closed-loop remediation across automation playbooks." The product page does not state whether that log is tamper-evident or how long it is retained.

LogicMonitor cites a Forrester Total Economic Impact study, which it commissioned, finding Edwin AI "delivered a 313% ROI for composite organization." The company markets the product to healthcare, financial-services and public-sector customers -- among the higher-stakes deployment settings where AI Dispatch's methodology calls for closer scrutiny of governance and audit claims.
