AI governance vendor Credo AI cites Forrester Wave leader placement, sells into insurance and healthcare, discloses no insurance terms of its own
Credo AI is one of a small number of vendors in AI Dispatch's index whose evaluation claim traces to a named third party rather than a self-issued badge. It publishes no insurance or indemnification terms for its own platform.
AI governance vendor Credo AI says it was "Named a Leader in the Forrester Wave(TM): AI Governance Solutions, Q3 2025," according to its website -- one of a small number of entities in AI Dispatch's index whose evaluation claim traces to a named third-party research firm rather than a vendor-issued badge.
Credo AI markets a policy-mapping and monitoring platform. The company says "enterprises across insurance, financial services, federal, and healthcare are already scaling on it," and names Mastercard as a customer: "Using the Credo AI Platform, Mastercard is able to manage AI risk and responsibly implement generative AI."
The platform offers "Policy packs for every major regulatory framework," listing "EU AI Act NIST AI RMF ISO-42001 OMB M-25 CO ADMT NAIC AI" -- mapping tools that align customers to those frameworks, not certifications Credo AI itself holds. The company describes its offering as governance "that reaches into runtime," beyond point-in-time audit, with a policy engine covering "Compliance mapping Evidence recording and audit." It lists integrations with "Snowflake Databricks AWS Azure ServiceNow Jira Confluence Slack GitHub MLflow."
A customer testimonial published on the site states "143B+ Transactions Protected" via the platform -- a vendor-reported figure not attributed to a specific customer or measurement period in the material AI Dispatch reviewed.
On AI Dispatch's five-dimension trust-gap rubric, Credo AI discloses a runtime-governance mechanism and an audit-trail capability, and its central evaluation claim -- the Forrester Wave placement -- is independently sourced rather than self-reported. The company has published no insurance coverage, indemnification terms, liability cap, service-level commitment or outcome-linked payment structure for its own governance product, according to AI Dispatch's review of its published material.
