Voice AI vendor Bland markets itself for healthcare, insurance and financial-services calls, publishes 24/7 incident response, discloses no insurance terms of its own

Bland's website states its voice agents are built for regulated industries and describes a documented incident-response process with SLA-bound notifications. The company publishes no insurance coverage, indemnification or outcome-linked pricing for its own service.

Voice AI vendor Bland markets its call agents directly at regulated industries. "Voice AI for regulated industries including healthcare, insurance, financial services, and logistics. Built for high-stakes phone calls where security and trust actually matter," the company's homepage states. The site displays a running, self-reported counter: "597,591,963 calls resolved to date."

On incident handling, Bland states: "Incident response 24/7 on-call engineering. Documented runbooks. SLA-bound notifications." The company lists three compliance certifications: "Bland holds SOC 2 Type I and Type II, HIPAA, and PCI DSS certifications," and states that data-processing agreements are in place for regulated customers: "BAAs and DPAs are in place for healthcare and EU customers."

On access control, the company states: "Access controls Role-based access with least privilege. MFA on every production system." On data handling: "Your data stays yours. No third party touches a single call. Encryption AES-256 at rest. TLS 1.3 in transit. HSM-backed keys."

Bland's published pricing is usage-based rather than tied to a verified result: "How does per-minute pricing work? One per-minute rate covers the language model, speech-to-text, text-to-speech, and telephony."

On AI Dispatch's five-dimension trust-gap rubric, Bland publishes claims that speak to access control, an audit trail and named compliance certifications, and now a documented incident-response process. It publishes no insurance coverage, no named carrier, no indemnification terms and no outcome-linked payment structure, according to AI Dispatch's review of its published material.
