Four AI insurers describe their coverage. None publishes a limit.

A review of the AI liability insurance market finds a common pattern: affirmative coverage language, no public dollar figures.

Four companies marketing AI-specific liability insurance each publish a description of what they cover. None of the four publishes the dollar limits behind that coverage, according to a review of each company's own website conducted by AI Dispatch.

Armilla AI says it "provides named, affirmative AI insurance that responds to those failure modes directly," marketing itself as "purpose-built AI insurance for generative AI and AI agents." Munich Re, the German reinsurer, offers a product called aiSure, which it describes as "a comprehensive suite of coverage for AI systems," aimed at AI providers and corporate adopters and "designed to address a wide range of AI-related risks for AI providers and corporate adopters."

Coalition, a cyber insurer, bills itself as "the first insurance to help actively cover, prevent and respond to cyber risk with security tech and broad coverage," and says its coverage is "backed by proprietary intelligence and Allianz's A+ rated capacity." Its site does not state whether AI-related incidents are treated as a distinct insured peril.

Vouch describes itself differently from the other three: "The insurance broker for leaders building what's next," and, more formally, "Business Insurance Broker & Risk Advisor to Growing Companies." A broker places coverage with underwriters rather than carrying the risk itself; Vouch's site does not state whether it places AI-specific policies.

None of the four sites reviewed states a specific coverage limit, deductible, or per-incident cap. AI Dispatch's index scores each vendor on a five-dimension trust-gap rubric, one of which is insurance and indemnity, scored 0 to 3 based on published evidence. Armilla and Munich Re's aiSure each score 2 of 3 on that dimension; Coalition and Vouch score 1. None reaches the top score, which requires published limits alongside a named carrier and customer indemnity language.

The gap matters for buyers trying to compare products: coverage language answers what is nominally insured, but not how much protection it actually provides, or what a claim would pay out. AI Dispatch's index and full sourcing for each entry are published at aidispatch.news, with the underlying quote and retrieval date attached to every field.
