Humanoid, Schaeffler to Deploy Thousands of Robots in U.S. Factories

Humanoid and Schaeffler announced a partnership to deploy thousands of humanoid robots in U.S. manufacturing facilities, according to a report by AI Business. The agreement represents one of the largest-scale implementations of humanoid robotics in factory settings to date, the report said.

Schaeffler, a global automotive and industrial supplier with U.S. operations, will integrate Humanoid’s robots into production lines. The deployment may transform manufacturing efficiency while raising questions about workforce impacts. "This partnership accelerates the future of industrial automation," a company spokesperson said in a statement.

The collaboration builds on Schaeffler’s existing robotics initiatives and Humanoid’s recent advancements in general-purpose robotics. With manufacturing accounting for 11% of U.S. GDP, the rollout may influence automation trends across multiple sectors, the report noted.
