Verisk Integrates Insurance Analytics Into Anthropic’s Claude
JERSEY CITY, N.J. — Verisk is integrating its insurance analytics and generative AI capabilities into Anthropic’s Claude platform, the data company announced, according to FF News.
The integration will allow Claude users to access Verisk’s insurance and risk data through the AI platform.
Verisk, headquartered in New Jersey and publicly traded on the Nasdaq, serves as a data infrastructure provider to the U.S. insurance market, offering analytics on property risk, claims data, actuarial science and underwriting. The company processes data from nearly every property and casualty insurer operating in the United States.
The insurance sector has historically approached AI deployment cautiously due to regulatory scrutiny and data sensitivity requirements. By embedding its analytics directly within Claude, Verisk is positioning the integration as a way for insurance professionals to query complex datasets using natural language while maintaining the data governance standards the industry demands.
The integration follows a broader trend of specialized data providers building connectors to large language model platforms, allowing domain-specific knowledge to be accessed through conversational AI interfaces rather than traditional query tools and dashboards.
