OpenAI Expands Codex AI Coding Assistant to Mobile Platforms

OpenAI has expanded access to its AI coding assistant Codex by integrating it into the ChatGPT mobile application for iOS and Android devices, according to a report from The Decoder. The update allows developers to leverage Codex’s code-generation capabilities directly from their smartphones and tablets.

Codex, which assists with writing and debugging code across multiple programming languages, was previously available only through desktop interfaces. The mobile integration broadens its accessibility for developers, particularly those working remotely or on-the-go.
