WhatsApp automation platform WaliChat gives staff full chat-editing access; no audit trail, insurance or compliance certification disclosed

A trust-gap review of the WhatsApp agent platform, used by more than 5,000 businesses, found no disclosed insurance, audit trail or compliance certification; its one runtime-governance credit covers human staff permissions, not the AI agent's own actions.

WaliChat, a WhatsApp automation platform the company says is "trusted by 5,000+ businesses," lets an entire staff read, reply to, delete or resolve customer conversations across one or more shared numbers. The vendor invites customers to "build your custom No-Code AI Agent on WhatsApp in minutes," with the agent handling "routine questions 24/7." The company's site gives two different figures for how many outside applications it connects to: one section says the platform can "connect 400+ apps from CRMs, to databases, spreadsheets and more," while another says customers can "connect 5000+ of third-party apps using Zapier, Make or Integrately, or build a custom integration using the API + Webhooks."

Team permissions are configurable by conversation type — the company says customers "can choose what actions can be performed by your Team members (reading only, replying, deleting, solving and much more) for every kind of chats" on a WhatsApp number. An AI Dispatch index review credited that control toward runtime governance, scoring it 1 out of 3: the setting governs which human staff can take which action, not any limit enforced on the AI agent's own behavior.

The review found no disclosed audit trail, compliance certification, regulatory status, insurance or indemnity for WaliChat — zero on four of the five trust-gap dimensions the index tracks. Pricing is flat and seat-based across three published tiers, $39.90, $69.90 and $99.90 per month; the company advertises a "predictable final cost per month. No additional fees. No surprises," meaning payment does not depend on outcomes.

Customer conversation data is retained for a minimum of nine months under WaliChat's published tiers, with an unlimited-retention option at the top tier. The company's terms bar customers from using the service to send unsolicited marketing messages.
