Sales AI agent Tektonic AI advertises a 'tamper-evident' audit trail; its liability language covers site use, not agent actions

Tektonic AI says every action its agent takes is logged and policy-enforced. The only indemnification and liability language found on its site governs use of the website, not the agent's actions, and the company discloses no insurance.

Tektonic AI, which sells an AI sales agent that updates CRM records and enforces deal-approval rules, says on its site that "every action is logged in a tamper-evident audit trail. That log is yours." The company also says it is "SOC 2 Type II certified." A review of Tektonic's site found no disclosure of insurance, indemnification or a liability cap specific to actions its agent takes.

Tektonic's pitch rests on enforcement, not just logging: "Policy Enforcement AI does exactly what you've authorized. Nothing else. Define rules by deal stage, team, or action type." It also describes role-based access control it says blocks overreach by design: "RBAC (Role-based access control) means AI only touches what your team has authorized. A junior rep's instance cannot access a strategic account. A field agent cannot approve above their threshold."

The only indemnification or liability language found anywhere on Tektonic's site appears on its privacy page, and it does not describe AI-specific coverage. That page reads: "Please also see our Terms of Service, which describe the restrictions, disclaimers, indemnification and limitation of liability governing the use of the Site" — standard website-use boilerplate, not a disclosure of what happens if the agent takes an unauthorized action or writes incorrect data to a customer's CRM.

A full-text search of Tektonic's homepage capture — 6,056 characters, retrieved Aug. 2 — found no occurrence of "insurance," "indemnification," "liability" or "underwrite." The same homepage capture recorded no public information on a liability cap, dispute process or SLA terms for the agent's actions. A separate capture of its privacy page, retrieved Aug. 13, recorded no public information on the company's own liability cover, how it holds customer assets, or any self-reported performance data for the agent's policy enforcement.

In the aidispatch.news index, Tektonic's insurance_available, insurance_carriers, coverage_limits, indemnification, liability_cap, dispute_process and sla_terms fields are recorded as no_public_information against the Aug. 2 capture; own_liability_cover, asset_custody and self_reported_performance are recorded as no_public_information against the Aug. 13 capture of its privacy page.
