AI policy-review tool discloses its summaries are not insurance advice
MyPolicyReview.ai reads insurance policies for customers and other agents, but states its own output does not determine coverage.
MyPolicyReview.ai, a vendor offering AI-generated summaries of insurance policies, states directly on its site that those summaries carry no authority over what a policy actually covers. "Analysis is AI-generated and informational only — it is not insurance advice, and coverage is governed by the policy wording issued by your carrier," the company states — an explicit boundary between what the AI produces and what a policyholder can rely on in a dispute.
The product itself is squarely agentic: beyond an interface for individual customers, the vendor markets direct machine access. "Autonomous agents can discover our API via MCP & OpenAPI, analyze policies, evaluate ROI, and upgrade plans — all programmatically," the site states, naming both the Model Context Protocol and OpenAPI as supported integration paths for other software to call the service without a human in the loop.
The vendor describes its core function as "a plain-English breakdown of coverages, limits, deductibles, exclusions, and red flags," with cross-policy gap detection layered on top. It states that its summaries stay tied to source text: "Summaries cite what your policy actually says. We don't recommend coverage or generate advice" — grounding output in the uploaded document rather than generating independent recommendations, per the site.
On data, the company says uploaded documents are "stored encrypted in transit and at rest, in per-account private buckets," with sharing to a broker, property manager or lender opt-in and revocable by the user. Pricing runs a 30-day free trial after which uploaded documents auto-delete, with a paid tier retaining them permanently. One named customer segment is property managers, who the vendor says use the tool to "track tenant and vendor insurance compliance across your entire portfolio" and coordinate certificate-of-insurance requests with brokers and lenders.
AI Dispatch''s index found no compliance certification, audit trail, insurance coverage of the vendor''s own service, indemnification term or third-party evaluation disclosed on the page checked. The informational-only disclaimer is the vendor''s clearest statement on where its own liability ends.
