Automation platform Make.com adds agent audit logs, SOC 2 certification; discloses no insurance or outcome-based pricing for agent actions

Make.com, a workflow-automation platform used by more than 500,000 teams, now lets users build AI agents with defined goals, tools and limits, backed by audit logs, role-based access and SOC 2 Type II certification. AI Dispatch's index found no insurance disclosure, outcome-based pricing or settlement terms covering what an agent actually does.

Make.com, an automation platform self-reported to be used by "500,000+ teams" — "from startups to global enterprises" — has built AI agent configuration into its visual workflow builder: "AI Agents Set goals, provide tools, define limits – and see the reasoning," the company's site states. Agents can be built "by prompt, drag-and-drop, or from Claude, ChatGPT, and any other AI chat," and the platform now ships an MCP server letting outside assistants "build & run automations from Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini." The product connects "3,500+ apps out of the box," plus custom integrations via API.

Make.com discloses specific governance and compliance controls behind those agents: "Role-based access, audit logs and real-time analytics across every workflow automation your teams run," and certifications covering "GDPR, SOC 2 Type II and SOC 3." Data protection is described as "Encryption in transit and at rest, SSO, and access controls that satisfy a security review." Pricing starts on a free tier — "No credit card required No time limit on free plan" — moving to sales-led paid plans with no published price list.

Outside that governance and compliance layer, AI Dispatch's index found no disclosure of insurance, indemnification or a liability cap covering an agent's actions, and no outcome-based or settlement-linked pricing tied to what an agent accomplishes. A full-text search of Make.com's homepage — a 3,859-character capture retrieved Oct. 14 — found no mention of "insurance," "indemnif," "liabilit," "arbitrat" or "warrant," even as the same page addresses compliance, audit and certification directly.

Make.com was added to AI Dispatch's index as a candidate entity Oct. 15 and has not yet been reviewed under the index's trust-gap rubric, which requires a human fact-check before a score counts as a finding rather than a completeness placeholder.
