Dot, an AI agent built to answer data questions inside Slack, Microsoft Teams and email, publishes customer case studies citing results including "18x ROI," "12,000h+ saved" and "€800K found," according to a copy of its site captured Aug. 9. The site discloses no insurance carrier, coverage limit or liability-cap term for the service itself.

The agent takes a plain-English question, finds the relevant database tables, writes the SQL and returns a chart: "Dot finds the right tables, writes SQL, and generates a chart," per the site. It connects to a company's existing data systems — Tableau, Snowflake and Confluence dashboards among the examples shown — through Dot's API or no-code integrations.

The cited results are attributed to named individuals at named companies: Marina Begovic, an analytics manager at Choco, credited with "18x ROI"; Lavanya Aprameya, a senior software engineer at Duolingo, credited with "12,000h+ saved"; Jeff Albenberg, a director of software engineering at Emerge, credited with "10x ROI"; and Claire Bertrand, a data and analytics lead at KRY, credited with "€800K found." All four figures are self-reported by the vendor rather than independently audited.

On security, Dot's site states: "SOC 2 audited. GDPR ready. Zero data retention on all LLM providers. Full audit logging." It also cites a comparison against human analysts, described as "Benchmarked on 450+ financial analysis tasks from Adyen" — a vendor-run benchmark rather than a third-party evaluation.
