Commt enforces per-request limits and per-agent access scopes; audit trail and insurance status undisclosed

Commt, an AI agent platform now in a limited early-access round ahead of a general launch scheduled for Oct. 12, checks each customer's monthly request allowance before every call, according to the company's website, captured Sept. 27. "Commt checks the limit before each request, so an unexpected loop cannot consume the rest of your allowance overnight," the site states.
Customers set each agent's access individually. "Every agent's access to knowledge bases, tools and the internet is set by you," according to the site. Agents can also be extended with custom Model Context Protocol servers, which Commt says it checks for security issues in an isolated environment before enabling them.
By default, Commt says it does not store message content, retaining only usage metadata such as request counts, latency and which agent responded. The company says application, database and document storage run in the European Union on private, non-public-internet networking. Customers can configure guardrails on topics an agent must refuse and data it must never repeat back, the site states, and every agent answer cites the source passages behind it from a customer's approved knowledge base.
An AI Dispatch review of Commt's published materials found no description of an audit-trail mechanism and no statement of regulatory or compliance certification -- both fields the company's own site leaves unaddressed. The same review, a full-text search of the captured page, found zero occurrences of "insurance" or "indemn," turning up no named carrier, coverage limit or indemnification clause for actions an agent takes on a customer's behalf.
Commt's entry plan is listed at $244 a month, discounted 30% from $349, for up to 5,000 requests; higher tiers, including an on-premises deployment option with an uptime service-level agreement, are also listed. The company says the early-access round has 25 seats, locking the discount for 12 months from signup.
