AI agent platform Chat Data logs every settings change and webhook delivery; discloses no insurance or outcome-linked pricing

Chat Data, an AI chatbot and agent platform the company says is "Trusted by 1000+ businesses worldwide," publishes an audit log of changes made to a customer's agent. "See who changed your agent's settings and when, with before/after diffs — and track every webhook delivery with status, latency, and one-click resend," the company's changelog states.

The company lists several third-party compliance credentials on its homepage: "GDPR EU Data Protection SOC 2 AICPA Compliant." A separate page extends that claim to a health care-focused product line: "Chat Data is HIPAA compliant Our Medical Chat models employ industry-standard data encryption, with a BAA available to sign for customers on the Standard plan or above," and the company says it holds a "HIPAA contract with OpenAI" and a "HIPAA contract with Anthropic" covering the model providers behind that product.

On how it handles personal data sent to those outside model providers, Chat Data says it "Automatically detects and anonymizes personally identifiable information (PIIs) before sending to LLM models, then replaces placeholders back with original values in responses."

The company's pricing page describes a usage-based option built on a customer's own Stripe account: "You can directly meter the agent usage through your Stripe account and charge your customers directly." That describes how a Chat Data customer bills its own end users, not a payment term under which Chat Data itself is paid based on the agent's verified performance — the distinction AI Dispatch's trust-gap rubric draws on the outcome-settlement dimension. No field in Chat Data's published material meets it.

No insurance carrier, coverage limit or indemnification clause appears anywhere in the capture reviewed. A full-text search of Chat Data's homepage (18,943 characters, captured Aug. 2) found no occurrence of "insurance," "indemnif," "warranty" or "liabilit[y]."

Chat Data's published audit-trail and compliance disclosures are more complete than most agent platforms AI Dispatch has reviewed under the same rubric. The gap sits specifically in two dimensions, outcome settlement and insurance/indemnity, where the company currently publishes nothing.
