Procurement agent Caddygo blocks itself from sending email, publishes no insurance or indemnity terms

Caddygo, an AI procurement agent that runs inside Microsoft 365, has structured its permissions so the system cannot send email on a customer's behalf. "Caddygo only ever writes drafts and never sends email, so sending stays with you," the company states on its site.

The product is built from four named sub-agents assigned to stages of a sourcing cycle: "Four AI agents run the operational side of competitive sourcing: Caddydraft writes your RFx, Caddyresearch finds and shortlists vendors, Caddyevaluate compares incoming offers, and Caddynegotiate prepares your negotiation." A Google Workspace version of the product also exists, covering Gmail, Docs, Sheets and Drive.

Access is scoped narrowly by design: "Caddygo connects to your Microsoft 365 account with the narrowest grants the agents can work with." Mail-read access lets the agents pick up sourcing requests and vendor offers; draft access lets them prepare messages for internal reviewers; file access lets them create and update RFx documents and comparison sheets.

Record-keeping is not separate infrastructure — it lives in the customer's own mail and file system. "The full audit trail stays in your inbox and SharePoint," the company says. That keeps the record customer-reviewable but not independently verifiable or tamper-evident, since it is ordinary inbox and SharePoint content rather than a dedicated, immutable log.

On compliance, Caddygo describes a posture in progress rather than certifications already held: "We are GDPR-compliant, and SOC 2 and ISO 27001 certifications are in progress." Data handling includes EU residency: "Content and attachments are stored on servers in Frankfurt, encrypted in transit and at rest, and are processed in Google Cloud Vertex AI using Gemini models so the agents can classify requests, compare offers, and draft documents. Your content is not used to train AI models."

Pricing is usage-based rather than seat-based: "Caddygo charges for sourcing volume, not seats. You pay per sourcing project the agents run, every plan includes unlimited users, and every plan starts with three free sourcing events." Payment is owed for sourcing work performed regardless of whether a sourcing event produces an accepted result — nothing on the site ties price to a verified outcome.

The company's site, reviewed by AI Dispatch, contains no reference to insurance, indemnity, liability cover, warranty or an underwriting carrier of any kind.
