Financial-research agent Auquan says 40% of top 50 global firms use its platform, discloses no insurance terms

Auquan, an AI agent platform built for institutional finance research, says its software is used by "40% of top 50 global firms" and is "in production across institutional finance," according to the company's website, reviewed as part of AI Dispatch's ongoing index of AI agent and assurance vendors.

The company says its agents "complete entire workflows autonomously" while "your team owns the judgment," and that "complete audit trails for every insight" let users trace "every source and methodology." Auquan says it is "SOC 2 Type II certified," "ISO 27001 compliant" and "GDPR and CCPA compliant." Gartner named the company "a 2025 Gartner® Cool Vendor for Agentic AI in Banking & Investment Services," according to Auquan's site.

The platform draws on "2M+ sources globally across 76 languages," the company says, and offers "single-tenant deployment options" for customers that require isolated infrastructure.

That level of disclosure -- named certifications, a third-party analyst citation, and a specific customer-adoption figure -- is more than AI Dispatch finds from most vendors it tracks. Companies frequently claim compliance or enterprise scale without naming a standard, an auditor or a source; Auquan names all three.

The same review found no public information on Auquan's site about insurance availability, liability caps, indemnification, outcome-based pricing, settlement mechanisms or a dispute process -- the assurance-specific fields AI Dispatch scores separately from governance and compliance claims. An agent that documents its audit trail and certifications has shown how it behaves and how that behavior is checked; it has not shown what happens, financially, if that behavior causes a loss. For Auquan, as for most AI agent vendors in AI Dispatch's index, that second layer remains undisclosed.
