No-code app builder AppWizzy stores customer AI-provider credentials in a hosted dev environment; discloses no insurance or independent audit
AppWizzy says more than 1,275 companies use its AI app-building platform, including in healthcare; provider credentials may be stored inside its hosted virtual machine, and the company discloses no insurance, liability cap or third-party audit.
AppWizzy, an AI tool that builds and hosts full-stack web applications from chat prompts, says more than "1,275+ companies use" the product, according to its website. The company provisions each customer "a real development machine in the cloud" so a user can "build and host full-stack webapps and websites by simply chatting with AI."
Customers who connect their own AI-provider accounts hand credentials to that hosted machine. AppWizzy's privacy policy states: "Provider credentials that you add to a development VM may be stored or used in that hosted environment as part of Customer Content." The company lists "AI-Powered Healthcare" among the use cases it markets the product for.
For record-keeping, AppWizzy offers "Private apps, collaborators, audit trail, \"bad-AI\" refundable edits (capped per plan)" — pairing an audit trail with a capped credit refund as its stated remedy when the AI produces a bad result: "you can request a refund for the credits used for that specific edit."
No insurance carrier, liability cap or indemnity clause appears on the pages reviewed by AI Dispatch. No compliance certification or third-party audit report is published, despite the company's own healthcare use case and its stated handling of customer AI-provider credentials inside a hosted environment it controls.
The refund-per-edit policy is AppWizzy's own remedy mechanism, capped by subscription plan; it is not insurance, and the company does not describe it as such.
