Job-application agent AI Applyd runs unsupervised on 34 hiring systems; discloses no compliance certification or insurance
AI Applyd publishes a numeric daily cap on submissions and bills per finished application, but keeps only its own unverified log and names no compliance certification or insurer.
AI Applyd, an agent that fills out and submits job applications on a user's behalf, operates with no per-application human approval and discloses no compliance certification or insurance covering its own conduct, according to a review in AI Dispatch's index of agent assurance.
The company describes the product plainly on its site: "It rewrites the resume, writes the letter, fills in every field and presses submit. You find out about it when they reply." AI Applyd says it submits directly on 34 named applicant-tracking systems, including Greenhouse, Workday, iCIMS and SAP SuccessFactors, running from its own infrastructure rather than the user's device: "We apply from our servers while your laptop is shut."
The company does publish a specific volume limit, which AI Dispatch credited on its runtime-governance dimension: "AI Applyd puts a hard daily ceiling on every account (15 a day on Hired in 30, 50 on Hired Yesterday) and paces submissions per hiring system." That scored a 2 out of 3 — credit for a numeric, published ceiling, short of a 3 because the limit is self-attested and the agent, not a human, decides when to press submit on any individual application.
AI Applyd also keeps a record of what it submitted, scoring a 1 on audit trail. The company's own description is notably candid about that record's limits, stating it "keeps its own records too - the submit its browser watched go through, the screenshot at the end of the run - and labels them as its own, because they describe what AI Applyd did rather than what the company received." There is no tamper-evident log and no confirmation from an employer's system that it actually received what the record shows.
The company bills per finished application — "$0.31 What one finished application costs you" — rather than a flat fee, which drew a 1 on AI Dispatch's outcome-settlement dimension; it fell short of a higher score because payment tracks a completed submission, not an interview or a hire.
AI Applyd scored zero on compliance and on insurance and indemnity. A full-text search of the 18,331-character capture AI Dispatch retrieved from aiapplyd.com found no mention of a compliance certification, an insurance carrier or a liability cap; the page's only use of "certif" describes resumes that avoid inventing "certifications you never earned," not a credential the company itself holds.
