OpenAI Launches Chrome Extension for Codex Coding Assistant
SAN FRANCISCO — OpenAI has released a Chrome browser extension for Codex, its AI-powered coding assistant, allowing developers to access the tool directly within Google’s browser without switching to a separate application, according to a report from MacRumors.
The extension integrates Codex’s capabilities into the Chrome browsing experience, a move that broadens the tool’s reach given Chrome’s dominant market share among web browsers.
